Judith A. Otto, a native of Omaha, Nebraska, has been in the Reno/Sparks area in excess of 20 years. A graduate of Old College and Nevada School of Law of Reno, Judy has been practicing law since 1987. Following graduation from law school, she became the Legal Administrator for Stewart Title of Northern Nevada. In 1990, Judy joined the law offices of Henderson & Nelson, concentrating on secured transactions, bulk sales, and creditor representation in bankruptcy. In January of 1997 Otto Ltd. was formed. Since that time, Ms. Otto focuses on document prepared for real estate and commercial transactions, foreclosures, and business sales. Judy frequently speaks at the Northern Nevada Escrow Officers Association meetings on all issues related to real estate and business transactions. She has further participated in a seminar on “Nevada Real Estate Transactions made Painless and Efficient” for the National Business Institute (NBI), and on a panel discussion regarding “Legislative Attempts to Amend Non-Judicial Foreclosure Process” for the United Trustee’s Association (UTA). Ms. Otto is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, District of Nevada, Eastern District of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, and is enrolled to practice before the Gaming Commission and the Public Service Commission. She is a member of the State Bar of Nevada (license #3326), and the State Bar of California (license #135262 not actively practicing in California at this time). Judy enjoys spending time with her husband, Don, two sons, and her daughter and two beautiful grandchildren. Favorite pastimes include: cross-country skiing in the winter and camping in the summer. |
